CARE PACKAGES

Each care package will be a personal gift from you to a new mother and her baby living in Uganda. All you need to do is collect the items listed below and put them in a gallon size zip lock bag, include $5.00 to help with shipping charges (or use PayPal donate button), box it and mail it to

Care packages will be collected and then sent over to Uganda together to be given out at the Mugusu S/C Maternity Ward.

You are also welcome to include a card of encouragement and your return address if you would like to open the opportunity for the new mom to write back. Keep in mind that not all new moms will be able to write back. ** Letters can provide a way of emotional support for the new mothers during a time that it is most needed.

Care Packages should include:

3 cloth diapers
6 diaper pins
2 plastic diaper covers
1 receiving blanket
1 small travel size baby powder
1 pacifier
1 bar of baby soap


MONETARY DONATION

If you would like to donate money to help purchase and ship the above items to Uganda, please use the PayPal button below. A donation of any amount will be appreciated and will be solely used to either purchase supplies for care packages or for additional shipping expenses.

Any help you can give to these mothers and infants is greatly appreciated.

**If a mother does write back, please be aware that in hard times, she may try collect additional money from you through letters. If you feel that you are being solicited for money, you are welcome to write us and we can provide suggestions on how to handle it. However, it is your responsibility to handle the issue with caution and care. We are not responsible or have any control over correspondence between the donor and mother.
